Abnormal weight loss
Weight loss is a common symptom of many diseases, including
Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Occurs when weight unintentionally or without doing anything special is lost.
Weight loss that occurs with certain diseases has many known causes, including the following:
sickness
vomiting
Loss of appetite, usually because in CML spleen (splenomegaly) expands and pushes aside the stomach, thus the amount of food that can be ingested is smaller
